I am Nicola and I started It’s A Wooden World after having my 4 children and having bought them both wooden toys and plastic toys, I very quickly learnt that out of all the toys that my children had the wooden toys lasted and looked much nicer and the children enjoyed playing with them much more.
Anyone with children will know that children like climbing, jumping and bashing everything. Plastic toys easily break but wooden toys can withstand all the knocks and bangs that children can inflict on them and still be strong for little brothers or sisters or even they own children to pass down too.
Wood is also more environmentally friendlier then many man made materials being a natural material, so you can treat your little one and do your bit for the environment at the same time.
Since we started in 2011 we have grown and added lots of new lines other then wooden toys all are high quality brands and unique from stunning fancy dress costumes to the most adorable Italian soft toys.
Employees
It’s a wooden world is a family run business and everyone has the same passion as Nicola does about wooden toys and furniture.
There are also plenty of little testers from her own children to those of family and friends. If the children don’t like it then we don’t stock it. You can rest assure everything we stock will be loved by children of all ages (and adults).
